The idea

Orpheon is an adaptive, score-aware virtual ensemble and musical teacher. It allows players at almost any level to participate immediately in serious music, while progressively restoring the full technical and musical demands of the original work.

Most practice tools only slow a recording, loop a passage, or remove a stem. Orpheon instead understands the music, the score, the player, and the relationship between them — and meets you where you are.

The pedagogical loop

Orpheon works out what you can currently manage.
It creates a version that is playable but not trivial.
It accompanies and listens while you play.
It identifies the real limiting difficulty.
It builds exercises or a slightly altered version targeting that limitation.
It gradually restores the original music as you improve.
